Ananya Panday’s appearance at the 2026 Bollywood Hungama
Style Icons Awards stood out not only for her win, but also for a carefully
composed jewellery-led red carpet look.
The styling was built around clean lines, controlled
contrast and precise jewellery placement. Instead of over-accessorising, the
look allowed the earrings and stacked rings to define the overall visual frame.
The appearance also comes after Ananya’s association with
Tanishq as the face of its natural diamond communication, following her
announcement in January 2026. The partnership reflects Tanishq’s focus on
versatile diamond styling through its Festival of Diamonds campaign and
the message of “Give wings to the girl within.”
The jewellery direction highlights ethically sourced,
conflict-free natural diamonds designed to move beyond traditional bridal
occasions and into modern everyday and occasion-led styling.
The Look
Styled by celebrity stylist Priyanka Kapadia, Ananya wore a
floor-length black column gown from Elie Saab’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection.
The gown featured tonal black sequins and shimmering
beadwork, creating a subtle liquid-like sparkle under the light. Its deep black
surface became the perfect canvas for the diamonds and sapphire-toned accents
to stand out.
Her hair and makeup were kept minimal and polished. A sleek,
wet-look hairstyle cleared her profile completely, allowing the drop earrings
to remain visible and sharp. The beauty direction supported the jewellery
rather than competing with it.
The result was a red-carpet look that felt refined,
structured and contemporary.
Brand Spotlight
The jewellery was from Tanishq, one of India’s most
recognised jewellery brands from the House of Tata.
Established in 1994, Tanishq played a defining role in
building the branded jewellery category in India. Over the years, the brand has
developed a strong identity across bridal, everyday, festive and diamond
jewellery segments.
While collections such as Rivaah focus on bridal traditions,
Tanishq has also continued to build relevance among younger consumers through
modern diamond campaigns, contemporary styling and versatile jewellery
narratives.
The brand’s natural diamond communication increasingly
reflects a shift in how diamonds are being worn today: not only for weddings or
milestone gifting, but also for self-expression, confidence and personal style.
Jewellery Decode
The strength of Ananya’s look came from restraint. Every
jewellery piece was selected to create impact without disrupting the clean
silhouette of the gown.
The standout element was the pair of geometric link drop
earrings from Tanishq. Designed in white gold, the earrings followed the
natural line of her jaw and created a sharp frame around her face.
The tiered diamond setting added brilliance with every
movement, while the sapphire-toned drop at the end introduced a strong point of
colour contrast. Against the black Elie Saab gown, the blue accent added depth
and gave the look a more defined eveningwear mood.
Her hands carried the second major jewellery story. Multiple
statement rings were stacked together, featuring starburst patterns and
intricate cluster formations. The rings brought texture and personality while
keeping the overall diamond language consistent.
The styling worked because the jewellery remained modern,
structured and deliberate. The diamonds did not overpower the outfit; instead,
they sharpened the look.
By combining geometric earrings, sapphire accents and
stacked diamond rings, Ananya Panday’s red-carpet appearance showed how natural
diamond jewellery can be styled for a younger, fashion-forward luxury audience.
The final look moved beyond standard award-show glamour and
presented a polished example of modern diamond dressing.
